We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Trader to join a Market Making team focusing on futures, ETFs and stocks in a fully automatised, low latency environment. Responsibilities Ensuring the systems operate smoothly: run and monitor the trading systems Managing book sizes and various risks In charge of pricing of ETFs, EFPs, BTICs Proposing enhancements to the strategies/systems: working in conjunction with IT and Quants. Qualifications Masters or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent STEM degree 3-7 years experience in the financial industry (experience in quantitative trading is preferred but not a requirement) A strong background in STEM Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques (auto-regression, auto-correlation and Principal Component Analysis) Solid data-mining and analysis skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data/tick data Familiarity with signal generation and statistical models Strong programming skills in Python Working knowledge of Linux and familiarity with SQL Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Anticipated New York annual base salary range $120,000-200,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus Benefits Tower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
