Job Description:

1. Purpose: To establish and define the functional and operational responsibilities of the Accountant. 2. Scope: This job description will establish and define, but will not be limited to certain functional and operational responsibilities the individual is to effectively accomplish. The employee's job performance shall be measured, in part, against the degree of conformance to the responsibilities established by this job description and the effective accomplishment of those responsibilities. 3. Functional Responsibilities: On a Monthly basis: Prepare monthly work papers including the review of accruals, rebates to third parties, roll-forward of fixed assets etc. Prepare and import large scale Corporate Recharge re-allocation entries When necessary, provide information to various functional departments for them to complete the monthly variance Prepare bank reconciliations Prepare check requests as well as initiating wires as needed for various entities managed in the US. Manage overhead upload process to payroll system including adjusting entries and billing to the properties and funds. Accounting and reconciling for Luxembourg and China entities managed in the US. Work closely with outsourced AP/AR firm and Treasury department on payment inquiries when needed. On a Quarterly basis: Provide appropriate information to functional teams to complete the quarterly re-forecast against original budget. On an Annual basis: Assist Controllers with preparation of audit work papers including fixed assets, accruals, prepaid accounts etc?. Assist Controller in preparation of intercompany work papers including elimination schedules and reconciliations. Assist Controller in preparation annual required footnotes Assist in preparation of the state apportionment schedules for tax firm Other: Provide assistance in any detailed budget variance analysis Prepare and record journal entries as needed Special Ad Hoc reports as requested. Backup staff as needed Book depreciation and reconcile fixed assets accounts Reconcile pre-paid accounts. Understand and implement reimbursement terms of new allocation codes for new deals, projects, and business activities (related to each of the new codes and groups created) Correspond and communicate with project teams and Corporate Finance to collect and understand business requirements of allocation codes. Manage workflows of requests submitted on allocation forms on the FP&A portal. 4. Essential Functions: The Accountant must be able to perform the duties of the job. 2-3 years of experience in accounting role, public accounting experience a plus. Ability to operate computer system and effectively input and upload/download pertinent information. Ability to and has sufficient knowledge of computer software currently utilized by the Company Ability to effectively listen to co-workers and respond to their requests. Ability to prepare intercompany reports, foreign exchange gains/losses Ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and written. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel (including Pivot Tables, Vlookups etc?)
