Job Description:

The Manager, Product Marketing Skincare, Sampling & Data is responsible for partnering with the Director of Product Marketing & Operations to manage the Bobbi Brown Skincare portfolio, management and execution of Promotional Sets and Sample plans for Bobbi Brown North America, in addition to leading marketing and competitive data analysis and insights for the US market. They will be responsible for building brand desirability while driving profit, revenue and volume with a focus on Skincare category planning and objectives. This position reports directly to the Director of Product and Marketing Operations Bobbi Brown North America.They will also support the execution of the North America Retail marketing programs to ensure Retail specific programs align with National commercial priorities. Responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of new launches, developing and maintaining seasonal marketing grids, administering entries and updates to Global Marketing Website, and conducting category/competitive analysis.--Marketing Strategy 30%

  • Support development of 3-year Skincare strategy inclusive of category targets, NPD ranking, customer growth and Skincare marketing innovation for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics North America
  • Conduct Situation Assessment in order to identify and prioritize brand-building opportunities for Skincare, samples and promotional sets by utilizing data-driven insights (e.g., NPD, internal sales reports, consumer research reports, competitive analysis, etc.)
  • Mine consumer driven insights to assess attractive growth opportunities that are currently untapped by the brand.
  • Manage Budget guidelines and ROI targets for North America Marketing and continue to maintain and update
  • Execute marketing plans including, promotions, new product launches, visual merchandising and in-store activation.
  • Develop and manage the brand's sampling and promotional sets strategy, plan for NA region supporting to drive growth of hero productsProduct Marketing 30%
    • Partner with Brand Director of Marketing on 3-year Skincare category planning to ensure Bobbi Brown is growing volume and market share.
    • Lead development and execution of short and long-term sampling and promotional strategy for NA region
    • Develop Sets and Sampling marketing calendars, ensuring relevancy for the North America market
    • Lead project management for Sampling/Sets category innovation & activation plan (includes forecasting, marketing plan, asset management)
    • Lead development of top-sided new launch forecast recommendations for the Skincare product pipeline calendar
    • Determine launch cadence, early leads, and exclusives to ensure side-by-sides are balanced and anniversary in partnership with Account Management
    • Analyze all pricing increases including competitive benchmarking
    • Partner closely with Global, Merchandising, Education, Demand Planning, Account Management and other cross-functional groups in the planning and execution of marketing programs.Performance / Market / Competitive Tracking and Reporting 30%
      • Lead cross functional partnership to develop category reviews/NA market reviews for the pertinent segments of the business which involves thorough research on trends, competition, consumer dynamics and requires analyses, identification of opportunities and strategic recommendations
      • Subject Matter Expert for Marketing team to develop launch recaps including sales performance, evaluation of internal sales trends, market and consumer trends and development of estimates for future sales by category and key subcategory, collaborating closely with Account Management
      • Monthly NPD reports and analysis for the Bobbi Brown brand.Budget Management & General Duties 10%
        • Updates marketing/sampling grid and/or other master document(s) that have summarized view of all programs, both saleable and non-saleable, with all information relevant to executing an event (e.g., retailer exclusivity, sales org participation, materials, suggested retail prices, forecasts, final names, on counter dates, trade ship dates etc.)
        • Accountable to inform all stakeholders of program changes on single source doc, and issuing to GBSC, PDM, Event Coordinator and NACOPS calling attention to timeline impacts and elevating key concerns.
        • Manage Sampling budget and ROI targets for North America Marketing and continue to maintain and update as changes occur
        • Support management of regional budget and ensure responsible financial decisions are met and aligned with the budget
        • Partner with Director of Finance tracking in SAP and PO CreationQUALIFICATIONS
          • The Ideal candidate will have 4+ years related experience with end-to end prestige beauty product launches, Innovation ideation and product development, global strategic marketing plans for products/categories, and product brief development
          • Undergraduate degree required with BA in related field
          • Seasoned & agile marketing leader who demonstrates curiosity, makes bold decisions & recommendations, tracks external trends, and understands the upstream and downstream impact of their work.
          • Highly organized & pro-active self-starter with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take complete ownership of projects.
          • Adept & detail-oriented who ensures that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner; removes barriers to move faster.
          • Agile, resilient and adaptable to change; experiments and adapts to win; questions the status quo
          • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functionally and build relationships internally and externally

Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
