Job Description:
Duties: Performs data analysis and develops software in support
of Fidelity’s client servicing and client reporting. Builds
reusable data services components using Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, and data
analysis tools. Triages incidents and data related issues. Designs and
develops reusable solutions using ATDD practices. Primary Responsibilities: • Performs data analysis and data profiling to help drive
data sourcing decisions. • Develops test cases to support all phases of testing,
including unit testing, systems integration testing, business acceptance
testing, and performance testing. • Develops comprehensive technical documentation covering
design and implementation phases. • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting
several divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of
a project. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several
initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience building highly customized and automated institutional client
management and asset management reporting applications; Or, alternatively,
a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of
experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience building highly
customized and automated institutional client management and asset
management reporting applications. Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing reporting/warehouse solutions using
Oracle, PL/SQL, and Informatica; performing systems and data analysis
using data mining and profiling techniques; and developing Context and
Flow Diagrams using Visio; DE designing and building reusable data
service components and APIs using Oracle, PL/SQL, and Informatica; DE
performing software development within a distributed onshore/offshore
team environment, according to Agile and Scrum software
development methodologies using Power Designer for data modeling, SONAR for
code quality analysis, Crucible for code review, stash and git for
version control, and Jenkins and uDeploy for automation; DE liaising
between business and technology partners to document business
