Job Description:
An award winning general contractor with federal projects up to
$40M is seeking a Project manager to join their team. Client
Details This company is a long-standing, family-owned general
contractor based in Northampton, MA, with a legacy dating back to
1897. They specialize in public, institutional, and commercial
construction projects across Massachusetts and Connecticut,
including libraries, schools, municipal buildings, and historic
renovations. With a collaborative team of 50 employees and a focus
on quality over quantity, they pride themselves on maintaining a
manageable workload while delivering exceptional results.
Description As the Project Manager you will: Manage all phases of
construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
to ensure project success Develop and maintain project schedules,
budgets, and quality control standards Conduct regular site visits
and lead OAC and subcontractor meetings Oversee subcontractor
procurement, buyout, and contract administration Utilize Procore
for project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reporting Identify
and mitigate risks, scope gaps, and schedule delays Support field
teams and collaborate closely with superintendents and internal
staff Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are upheld
across all phases of work Profile The successful Project Manager
will have: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management,
Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field
preferred 4 years of experience as a Project Manager General
Contractor experience Project background in public & private work
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects Strong
literacy of MS Word and Excel Working understanding of
Timberline/Sage software Strong communication and interpersonal
skills Job Offer The right candidate will receive Up to $ 125,000
base salary Competitive benefits package 401K plan and employer
