Job Description Job Description Day-to-Day: Insight Global is looking for several Maintenance Technicians for permanent, direct hire opportunities in the Cincinnati/Fairfield area. These Maintenance Technicians will join a large maintenance team and spend their time maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment for a fast-paced environment in the food industry all while receiving paid training. Repairs/maintenance on equipment can range from gearboxes, filers, bearings, valves, sprocket alignments, limit switches, air systems, motors, hydraulic components, PLC's, etc. Experience with gearboxes, bearings, troubleshooting electric, refrigeration, ammonia, control voltage, HVAC, or hydraulics are highly preferred for this role. They will also complete basic welding duties as well as use hand tools such as grinders, saws, drills, bearing press, etc. The manager is willing to offer paid training and will cross-train employees. The company does not outsource their maintenance work, so there is plenty of opportunity to develop skills further. These candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check. Expectations for Candidate Review: Must have industrial or food experience Must have held a job for longer than 1 year Any awards or certificates to present a plus Special skills such as tech schools / college a plus Desired Skills & Experience: Industrial maintenance background Experience with VFDs, safety relay, motor controls, safety circuits, encoders, pumps, positive displacement, gear drive, reducer, moisture control, transducer, centrifugal pumps, welding TIG stainless steel, gearboxes, troubleshooting electric, refrigeration, ammonia, AC DC circuits, control systems, control voltage, hydraulics , etc. Strong communication skills Okay with OT & some weekends for projects (48 hours a week) Stable work history (or Recent Graduate from Technical School) Tools/Toolbox required Plusses: Amonia certifications Boiler experience Water treatment / wastewater experience PLC troubleshooting experience (strongly preferred) Open to multiple shifts Food industry background Robotics experience
