Job Description:
Sign-on bonus: $5,000Well-established outpatient clinic in
Waterbury seeking a Program Director of Adult Outpatient Behavioral
Health Services. This is an opportunity to guide a program and its
staff.As a member of the Senior Management Team, you are
responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership
and oversight to the Wellmore Adult substance use outpatient,
Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP), Case Management, and the
Primary Integrated Care (PIC) Program. Manage a staff of four
direct reports.Director is responsible for achieving contract,
fiscal, performance and quality requirements of assigned programs.
Director is the day-to-day manager of the services and ensures
fidelity to contract and model expectations, access to services,
and availability of adequate staffing. Director supervises program
staff, implements all components of the program, and seeks
family/consumer involvement to continuously improve the care
provided by Wellmore staff.EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide clinical leadership in the implementation of
assigned programs, ensuring high quality and accessible care.
- To provide day-to-day administrative management of assigned
programs.
- To (develop and) maintain program-specific quality assurance
expectations and to ensure comprehensive quality assurance
standards are integrated into program implementation.
- To maintain programs within required financial parameters (as
determined by the approved agency budget) as well as contract and
performance requirements.
- To ensure achievement of program productivity (billable visits
& non-billable services) standards (including maintaining
accountability for staff performance expectations).
- To provide oversight and supervision of all program
staff/interns (may be via delegation) and to ensure staff are
productive, enthusiastic, and engaged in the Mission.
- To develop program-specific (concrete/objective) outcome
measures that are guided by principles of best practice and are
used to continuously improve agency services.
- To oversee case triage and assignment (either directly or
through delegation).
- To ensure timely and accurate performance data is
collected/analyzed and the results are used to continuously improve
the quality of assigned programs/services.
- To represent the agency at community, funder and professional
forums.
- To seek family and consumer input (in the broadest possible
context) regarding the services within assigned programs and to
ensure that assigned programs are responsive to the needs of
families/consumers of service.
- To collaborate with agency management team members regarding
the integration of care across the agency continuum of
services.
- To coordinate psychiatric resources and collaborate with
psychiatric staff.
- To assist in program development, grant writing, marketing, and
community outreach.
- To complete grant (and other) reports, grant renewal
applications, and to produce other such data as required by program
contracts.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to display knowledge and
expertise in clinical and administrative practice as it relates to
the populations served by Wellmore, Inc and within the Adult
Division. Must be capable of working as a part of a team and be
able to effectively communicate with both families and
professionals (in writing and verbally).Must have experience in
group therapy and working with the adult population.Bilingual
(Spanish-English) preferred but not required.EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE:A master's degree in Social Work along with a current
and in good standing Connecticut State license from the Department
of Public Health is required (LCSW).LMFT or LPC candidates are also
deemed qualified to apply if all other criteria are met.Two years
of post-graduate clinical experience working with adults is
required, four years' experience is preferred. Experience providing
clinical supervision and the necessary credentialing from NASW or a
similar credentialing body that approves supervisors or supervisors
in training, status, etc. may be required.Experience in working in
a behavioral health setting is preferred.Experience with various
levels of care and treatment interventions is preferred.Location:
