Employment Type:Full timeShift:Evening ShiftDescription:Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an EXPERIENCED CRITICAL CARE/ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Mary's Hospital.Work Hours/Highlights:Full-Time - 40 hours/week - Evening Shift.You Will Be Responsible For the following:Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager assists in managing unit personnel and the nursing unit environment. They collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other healthcare team members in delivering healthcare services to patients of all ages. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assist with the hiring and firing of staff, judging staff competency, and assuming budgetary responsibility. The position requires the promotion of a healthcare culture that values growth and input from frontline staff and requires an empowered leader who facilitates the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse Licensure (RN): Connecticut's current registered nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of Critical Care/ICU nursing experience is required. ICU management/supervisory experiences are preferred
  • BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
