Come join our supply chain team at Saint Mary's Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family bringing compassionate care to our communities.


Under the direction of the Supervisor or Distribution Manager, receives, checks and stocks all incoming supplies. Inventories, puts up and distributes supplies, equipment, and mail throughout the hospital. Additional duties in Laundry.

Work Hours/Shift:

* 40 hours full time. Position requires working a rotating shift including 1st & 2nd shift, holidays and weekends. Shift, Weekend and Holiday differentials apply!! Great Benefits!

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Exceptional Patient Care: Properly identifies and marks all patient charge items using stickers or cards; delivers medical surgical supplies, on demand supplies and STATs as assigned

* Excellent Communicator: Keeps accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsible

* Technical Familiarity: Accurately inventories all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levels and monitors supplies in various nursing departments; ensures rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroom; transports supplies, mail etc. between and within both facilities


* High school or GED equivalent for regularly scheduled positions.

* One year storeroom or related experience.

* Valid CT Driver's License.

* Must be able to communicate in English

* Ability to operate all appropriate material handling equipment and use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system
