join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators located at
our One Stop Testing located at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury,

for providing skilled phlebotomy, specimen processing and other lab
assistance, as needed. Your work is vital to the diagnosis,

rotation You Will Be Responsible For :
- Exceptional Patient Care : Contributes to overall quality of
care for the patient through accurate, skilled phlebotomy draws,
specimen processing, and excellent customer service.
- Excellent Communicator : Communicate effectively (written and
verbal) with administrators, colleagues, patients, and healthcare
providers.
- Strong Contributor: Provide assistance as needed throughout the
Lab.
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding in the
operation/maintenance of Lab equipment, computer-based applications
(email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office).
- Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict
resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. Willing to
assist where needed. Requirements :
- Education: High school diploma.
- Certification: Nat'l Phlebotomy Certification or obtain within
6 months
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a
blood draw station, ambulatory care or acute care setting required.

Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team of mission-driven
healthcare innovators located in the Saint Mary's Hospital's Core
Laboratory Services Department. Our vision is to provide

our doors. This person is responsible for Performs phlebotomy
(venipunctures) when needed, assists technical staff in preparing
equipment and analyzing specimens for patient testing. Maintains
proper inventory of reagents and control materials. Performs
clerical functions associated with accessioning, result reporting,
