Provide direct patient care for medical surgical population with specialization of orthopedics, neurosurgery and neurology with cardiac monitoring if indicated. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager (or designee) and within hospital and departmental policies and procedures the professional registered nurse acts as a patient advocate in the application of the nursing process.     • Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.

    • Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

      • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
      • Licensure: Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in ConnecticutPreferred Skills:
