Employment Type:Full timeShift:12 Hour Evening ShiftDescription:Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an EXPERIENCED EMERGENCY ROOM (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Mary's Hospital.Work Hours/Highlights:Full-Time - 36 hours/week - Evening Shift. All shifts require rotating weekends and holidays.

• Additional hourly specialty pay is added to base pay compensation for Experience Nurses with one (1) or more years of experienceYou Will Be Responsible For the following: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering patient care for an assigned group of patients and directing and coordinating all nursing care according to established standards of practice. Uses the nursing process to assess needs, plan care, implement the plan, and evaluate the patient's responses and progress toward goals. Collaborates with colleagues, physicians, healthcare team members, and the patient and family to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery.Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • Registered Nurse Licensure (RN): Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of nursing experience. Emergency Department experience is preferred.
  • CPI, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS are required within three months of hire.
  • BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
