nursing job in Waterbury, Connecticut. Job Description &
Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date:
11/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours,
nights Employment Type: Travel Location: Waterbury, CT 06708 Unit:
Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Beds: 30 Shift: Nights, 4 × 12-hour
(7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend Contract
Duration: 13 weeks Unit Details: Adult and Geriatric patient
population Patient Ratios: Nights 1:6, Days 1:5 Interdisciplinary
support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy,
Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Team, Pharmacy, Unit
Secretary Documentation System: Cerner Medication System: Omnicell
Communication System: SBAR Qualifications: Experience: 1 year
(first-time travelers considered) Certifications: BLS (required),
NIHSS (preferred) Skills: Med/Surg nursing, IV therapy/Phlebotomy,
Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line/PICC Line Care &
Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Nasal Cannula &
Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions Gross Pay:
$3100/Week Additional Information: Candidates without NIHSS
certification are still considered if they are open to completing
the free class, which we will assist them with . Travel experience
required; locals accepted COVID-19 Vaccine required
