hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Location: Waterbury, CT
06708 Unit: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Beds: 30 Shift: Nights, 4 ×
12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Contract Duration: 13 weeks Unit Details: - Adult and Geriatric
patient population - Patient Ratios: Nights 1:6, Days 1:5 -
Interdisciplinary support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services,
Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Team,
Pharmacy, Unit Secretary - Documentation System: Cerner -
Medication System: Omnicell - Communication System: SBAR
Qualifications: - Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers
considered) - Certifications: BLS (required), NIHSS (preferred) -
Skills: Med/Surg nursing, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product
Administration, Peripheral Line/PICC Line Care & Management,
Starting and maintaining IVs, Nasal Cannula & Non-invasive airway
management, Isolation Precautions Gross Pay: $3100/Week Additional
Information: - Candidates without NIHSS certification are still
considered if they are open to completing the free class, which we
will assist them with. - Travel experience required; locals
