than 30 different specialties. Job Description Responsible for
coordinating the individualized care of patients throughout the
continuum of care services, functioning as patient advocate,
educator, key point of contact and liaison between the patient and
all other appropriate services. Navigate the A-Fib patient
population through the pre-procedure testing process by providing
education and guidance. Use foundational cardiology knowledge and
experience to gain extensive knowledge of electrophysiology process
and procedures. Function as collaborating member of the health care
team, but also must be able to act independently to assess patient
and physician needs to ensure appropriate hand-offs so that
patients receive services promptly and efficiently. Maintain a
national registry database for A-Fib procedures in collaboration
with the quality team. Ensure all requirements are met at expected
timelines prior to submission. Provide pre/post, disease process
education to patients via phone and/or in-person on the day of
testing for any of our A-Fib procedures. Review educational
materials with patient and/or family. Return calls to patients to
discuss concerns, questions, and provide guidance. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Five years’ experience as a nurse CT
RN License or PA/APRN License Two years supervisory/management and
patient/staff education experience required Travel Required We take
