Health to find a qualified Charge Nurse RN in White Plains, New
York, 10601! Job Title: Patient Safety Nurse Profession: Nursing

Microsoft Office Description: In collaboration with the medical and
leadership team, the Patient Safety Nurse promotes a culture of
patient safety and adherence to national clinical standards. The
Patient Safety Nurse serves as a visible and recognized advocate
within the interdisciplinary team of providers, clinical
pharmacists, care management, advanced practice providers, and
clinical nurse specialists. They work together to plan and
implement safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating patient
care by coordinating, delegating, and supervising the care provided
by a healthcare team at the clinical level. Serves as a patient
safety advocate and clinical role model in their specific
specialty. Presents patient and staff concerns to appropriate
clinical forums. Participates in and contributes to clinical review
activities. Assists and supports the healthcare team with
disclosure when an adverse event or untoward outcome occurs and
coordinates debriefing sessions. Identifies and monitors specific
metrics leading to improving patient care. Provides data as
requested by internal and external bodies. Performs collaborative
reviews of adverse occurrences and near misses while incorporating
such into educational efforts. Maintains a database of records
reviewed, issues identified, and plans of correction. Assesses the
documentation of charts reviewed and provides timely feedback to
clinicians. Flexible in work hours to provide consistent
communication and evaluation throughout all shifts to support
continuous care. Fosters and promotes participation by all members
of the team in education programs and drills. Facilitates clinical
drills for high-risk situations. Participates in ongoing education
of nurses in their clinical specialty department. Collaborates and
meets with relevant program directors on a regular basis. Provides
direct patient care at the direction of leadership except for
specific service lines. Performs all other related duties as
assigned. Education & Experience Requirements: Master’s degree
preferred; BSN required. Previous research, patient safety,
simulation, or team training experience is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Experience with
