Hospitalist - Psychiatric Facility Division HC - Providers (Physicians) Location Staten Island, New York Employment Type Permanent A hospital-owned psychiatric facility is seeking a Hospitalist to oversee medical issues for inpatient units. This full-time role offers hospital benefits, including PTO, CME, malpractice coverage, and a competitive compensation plan. The Hospitalist will primarily manage chronic and low-acuity medical conditions, with no ICU responsibilities or procedures required. Job Description: Compensation : $300000 - $300000 Job ID : 35473 Job Function: Day Shift. 8 AM-4:30 PM. Oversee a maximum census of 30 patients, with an average daily census in the low 20s. Manage chronic and low-acuity medical conditions such as URIs, UTIs, and other routine issues. Conduct qualitative and quantitative documentation reviews to ensure compliance and quality care. Participate in morbidity and mortality committees and other Medical Staff Organization (MSO) meetings as assigned. Job Requirements: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine. Active New York State Medical License required. Current ACLS or BLS Certification required.
