registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered
Nurse with expertise in Operating Room settings, particularly with
cardiac experience. This role supports perioperative care, focusing
on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse
patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents,
adults, and older adults. Location Positioned in Passaic, NJ, this
role offers access to a vibrant community known for its cultural
diversity and proximity to major metropolitan areas, providing a
dynamic living and working environment. Schedule/Hours 8-hour
shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Required to
participate in on-call rotation: Minimum one weekday night call per
week (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with a maximum of two per week Weekend
call rotation: once every fifth weekend, covering Saturday and
Sunday, 24 hours each day Call is taken from home via personal cell
phone, and a response time within 30 minutes is required when
called in Qualifications and Desired Experience Current and valid
RN license in the state of New Jersey BLS (AHA) certification upon
hire and maintained current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days
of hire and maintained current PALS (AHA) certification within 30
days of hire and maintained current Minimum of one year
perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience with preoperative and
postoperative care Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive
perioperative nursing care following assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation processes Coordinate patient care
collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating
room staff Guide and direct OR technicians and other personnel
ensuring adherence to professional standards Maintain unit
organization and efficient patient flow in cooperation with
interdisciplinary teams Comply with hospital policies, regulatory
requirements, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other staff This
position is offered on a contract basis. Candidates who meet the
