Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is sought to support elementary school students in Waterbury, CT. This onsite contract position focuses on applying behavioral analysis techniques to promote positive student outcomes within an elementary school setting. The assignment runs through the current school year, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact young learners' growth and development. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans based on functional behavioral assessments. Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly. Providing training and guidance to school personnel on behavior management techniques. Collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making and ensure effective outcomes. Qualifications and experience required: Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field from an accredited university. Active Connecticut BCBA certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Proven ability working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
