Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for

seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse III for our Labor and Delivery
department. This critical role supports our mission by providing
expert nursing care to mothers and babies during labor, delivery,
and postpartum periods. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will work
alongside a dedicated team committed to the highest standards of
patient care, driven by research and education in a supportive and
advanced medical environment. Provide holistic, compassionate care
to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and manage
deliveries under the guidance of obstetricians. Educate and support
families on newborn care and maternal postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including
physicians, midwives, and other nursing staff to ensure optimal
patient care. Participate in continuous education and research to
improve patient outcomes. Uphold the highest standards of nursing
practice as per departmental and hospital policy. Proficiency in
fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation Expertise in labor and
delivery protocols and patient-centered care Strong communication
and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New
York BLS certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
