Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate Occupational
Therapist to provide coverage for our outpatient facilities on a
per diem basis, with opportunities throughout Nassau County. Come

progress. What You’ll Do: Provide one-on-one treatment Plan,
prepare and carry out individually designed programs of
occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical
functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in
patients. Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients Perform and
document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems
and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Develop and guide
plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best
results for your patients. Evaluate effects of treatment at various
stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Must be
willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.
Qualifications Occupational Therapist Program Graduate NYS
Occupational Therapy License or eligible Certifications Required:
CPR/First Aid Outpatient experience preferred Strong communication
and patient education skills Commitment to evidence-based,
patient-centered care Sensory integration experience a plus
