As a Licensed Psychiatrist with our organization, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage their mental illnesses, using a variety of approved therapeutic methods and medications. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for patients. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medication, monitoring effects and making necessary adjustments. Provide psychotherapy and counsel patients on mental health, behavioral adjustments, and lifestyle changes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and effective treatment outcomes. Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to all necessary legal and ethical guidelines. Stay updated with advancements in psychiatry and integrate new methods into patient care where applicable. Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness and the services offered by Headway. Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and their families. Proficiency in managing psychiatric medication and side effects. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health team. High ethical standards and professionalism. Medical Insurance Valid state license to practice psychiatry. Board certification in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
