Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic
Technologist specialized in diagnostic imaging. This role involves
performing radiographic examinations with precision and care,
adhering to established protocols while delivering patient-centered
service in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities
include: Producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs by
positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors
tailored to individual needs. Utilizing equipment proficiently to
perform both stationary and portable x-ray procedures in various
settings such as patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency
departments. Ensuring radiation safety by restricting exposure to
unaffected areas using collimating devices. Accurately labeling and
processing x-ray films and maintaining meticulous records in
accordance with departmental standards. Assisting physicians with
the preparation and administration of radiopaque contrast media.
Performing administrative tasks including appointment scheduling,
patient instructions, and maintaining organized departmental
workflow. Providing compassionate care and support to patients,
accommodating their physical and emotional needs throughout the
imaging process. Complying with organizational competencies and
adapting communication to effectively interact with diverse patient
populations. Desired Qualifications: Proven experience as a
Radiologic Technologist with a strong understanding of radiographic
techniques and radiation safety. Ability to operate imaging
equipment and perform portable x-rays confidently. Strong
interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach. Capacity to
lift and assist patients as required and to stand for extended
periods. Familiarity with administrative processes related to
imaging departments. This position is based in Jersey City, NJa
