Job Description:
Doctors Subacute Care is seeking a dedicated Director of Social
Services to lead our social services department. This position
focuses on maintaining our standards of patient-centered care
through the management and operation of the social services team.
The ideal candidate will develop strategic plans, oversee the
delivery of social services, ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations, and agenda setting that promotes psychological and
social well-being of our patients. The role requires a high level
of professional integrity and confidentiality, as well as a
commitment to developing staff competencies in social work. Develop
and implement departmental goals and objectives in alignment with
organizational priorities. Oversee the provision of
patient-centered social services and support systems. Manage
recruitment, training, and development of social services staff.
Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the facility's
quality assurance. Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration
across healthcare teams. Administer budgets and allocate resources
effectively. Leadership and managerial skills Expertise in clinical
social work practices Strong organizational and communication
skills Ability to navigate complex healthcare systems Proficient in
data analysis and performance metrics Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
or similar state licensure Certification in healthcare
administration is a plus
