Job description Position Overview

A high-performing ophthalmology practice is seeking a Comprehensive Cataract Surgeon to join its Long Island operations.

This role offers strong surgical demand with exceptional premium IOL and FEMTO utilization, along with mentorship support.

Compensation & Benefits

$350,000+ base + incentives
High premium IOL conversion (90%+)
Strong FEMTO utilization
Established patient base
Full benefits package

Work Schedule

Full-time outpatient + surgical schedule
Balanced workload

Key Responsibilities

Perform cataract surgery
Manage comprehensive eye care
Educate patients on advanced lens options
Collaborate with clinical team

Required Qualifications

Board Certified/Eligible Ophthalmologist
Active or eligible NY license

Skills & Competencies

Strong cataract surgical expertise
Experience with premium IOLs and FEMTO preferred
Strong clinical judgment
Excellent patient communication
