Position title: Blood Bank Team Lead/Supervisor - Days
Location: Waterbury, CT
Duration: 6 months
Shift/Schedule: Days w/EOW and holidays required

Facility Requirements:

BB Team Lead/Supervisor with SunQuest and Wellskye experience.
Also experience with scheduling.
CPT Phlebotomist with Blood Bank experience.
BLS required
Minimum 6 month commitment.

Job Description:

The Phlebotomist demonstrates technical skills, judgment and leadership in the practice of performing venipunctures.
The phlebotomist is responsible and accountable for the efficient and safe obtaining of appropriate blood samples from patients for the performance of laboratory procedures.
The phlebotomist practices in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.
