our Williamsburg team. We’re searching for a hands-on, passionate
culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
and takes pride in consistency, creativity, and teamwork. About the
Role As Sous Chef, you’ll support the Executive Chef in all aspects
of kitchen operations—from managing the line and developing staff
to maintaining the high standards that define Little Ruby’s. You’ll
help create delicious, beautifully executed dishes while ensuring
smooth service and a positive, motivated team culture. What You’ll
Do Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency,
cleanliness, and quality Train, mentor, and motivate BOH team
members Maintain food quality and recipe accuracy during service
Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and prep organization
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and
seasonal specials Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation
standards Maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure
Support the brand’s commitment to a fun, welcoming, and
guest-focused atmosphere What We’re Looking For 2 years of
experience as a Sous Chef or lead cook in a high-volume kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational
and multitasking abilities Passion for fresh, approachable, and
flavorful cuisine Proficiency in basic kitchen technology and
systems (POS, inventory, scheduling) Ability to work a flexible
schedule — including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer
