Job Description Senior Staffing Coordinator (Home Care)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11232 Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $30hr-35hr, plus
bonuses and incentives Experience Level: Minimum 1 year (home care
staffing preferred) Supervisory Responsibility: Yes Position
Overview The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and
coordinating the scheduling of caregivers to ensure uninterrupted,
high-quality home care services. This role supervises a team of
coordinators, manages caregiver-client placements, ensures
regulatory compliance, and resolves staffing challenges
efficiently. This position is ideal for a strong communicator and
problem-solver with experience in home care staffing, scheduling,
and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the
staffing and care coordination team to ensure consistent coverage
of client services Coordinate caregiver schedules and ensure
timely, appropriate caregiver-client matches Maintain professional
relationships with coordinators, clients, and home health aides
Promote collaboration, accountability, and teamwork within the
department Identify staffing issues, analyze data, and implement
effective solutions Ensure efficient staffing workflows that
support continuity of care Monitor punctuality, attendance, and
readiness of staff Answer phones professionally and support
interdepartmental communication Report significant incidents to
leadership as required Monitor client satisfaction and follow up on
complaints or concerns Enforce corrective actions in collaboration
with leadership and related departments Ensure compliance with
contractual obligations, agency policies, and government
regulations Protect patient and employee privacy and maintain
confidentiality of all protected information Assist leadership with
special projects, reporting, and data collection as needed Perform
additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred, or a minimum of three (3) years of
staffing and scheduling experience in the home care industry At
least one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong knowledge of home care regulations and compliance
requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office and home care
scheduling systems (HHA Exchange preferred) Ability to manage
schedules manually and electronically with strong data entry skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain organized and adaptable in a fast-paced
