BackgroundThe Clinical Supervisor for the Intensive Home-Based Therapy program (IHBT) is an experienced, licensed clinician responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the IHBT program. Will supervise all functions of the assigned program and staff, including performing program and staff evaluation, record-keeping, training, grant management, communication with all involved parties, personnel management and other such duties.The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Wellmore, Inc. VP and Director on the implementation, supervision and development of the IHBT program. Must be able to work flexible hours, as based on the needs of client families and staff.Responsibilities1. To supervise the work of the clinical teams, individual staff, and interns and provide staff training that assists the staff in skill development, enhancement of quality services and cultural competency, etc.
2. To ensure that communication is maintained with client families, DCF, funding, referral and collateral sources for the purposes of case coordination and collaboration.
3. To implement assigned programs as designed including but not limited to: project evaluation; program outcomes, record keeping; record review, staff training and management; coordination of services and information as well as maintaining and updating policy.
4. Trained in and oversees the implementation of a research-based program (e.g. IICAPS).
5. Responsible for the oversight of comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans and treatment of children, adolescents and families. This includes evaluation/assessment; home and community-based services; outreach; case and care management; individual, group and family therapies, as well as crisis intervention.
6. Responsible for the oversight of the implementation of treatment plans that may include psychotherapy and clinically required support services including but not limited to translation, transportation (only as per agency policy) advocacy and linkage to other needed services.
7. Responsible for the oversight of community-based outreach and treatment services as defined by the treatment plan and/or client need, in a variety of settings including but not limited to: client homes, agency sites, schools, emergency rooms, shelters, police stations, etc.
8. To carry a cell phone and to be available to provide after-hour emergency mobile (in-home, community, emergency room, school-based, other) services including both phone and face-to-face interventions, if assigned as based on agency and/or staff/client needs.
9. To prepare and submit all program documentation, including but not limited to: data collection, quarterly reports, financial statements, and other such materials as required by funders and/or as assigned by the supervisor.Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • A Connecticut license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • 2-5 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families is required
  • Experience providing supervision (to both professionals and paraprofessionals) and the necessary credentialing from NASW, AAMFT or the APA
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities through a combination of training and work experience in required
