About the Role We're building a team of high-impact generalists who thrive in ambiguity and turn strategic priorities into operational reality. As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you'll be aligned to a functional department —from Marketing and Sales to Customer Experience and beyond— and work closely with leadership, tackling our most pressing opportunities and driving measurable business outcomes. This role is for operators who move fast, think strategically, and get hands-on with building scalable solutions. You'll test new marketing channels, build AI-powered systems that multiply team capacity, identify operational gaps, and own high-impact projects from concept through launch. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What You'll Do Drive growth initiatives across marketing, sales, and customer experience by testing and validating new acquisition channels, retention strategies, and operational experiments Create AI-powered tools and workflows that multiply output Partner with your respective leader to identify growth opportunities and operational gaps, getting hands-on to solve for those gaps Translate strategic priorities into concrete action plans, taking ownership of high-impact projects and working cross-functionally from concept through launch Run rapid tests across multiple functions and drive analysis and execution of new ideas What We're Looking For 2-6 years of professional work experience with a track record of driving results; preference for prior experience working in consulting, finance or related field Experience at a high-growth startup is required Hands-on experience building with AI tools and systems—you've shipped things that work Strong analytical thinking with the ability to design clean experiments and interpret data Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment with competing deadlines, and re-prioritize demands as events change Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy for our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their needs Benefits & Perks Flexible PTO Competitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially or fully covered by GG In-person opportunities that are designed to help team members foster collaboration and build community (i.e., working out of a co-working space, team dinners, and other team building activities) Fertility and adoption benefits via Carrot Generous, fully-paid parental leave policy 401k benefit—employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employment Professional Development—employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expenses Pre-tax commuter benefits Dependent Care FSA Home office support The starting base salary for this role in New York is between $120,000-$170,000 target equity benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius's equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
