Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated OTR (Over The Road) Class A Owner Operator to join our transportation division. This role is pivotal in helping us fulfill our commitment to providing safe and sustainable solutions by transporting hazardous materials with the utmost care and compliance. As an Owner Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring that our services impact the environment positively. Safely transport hazardous materials while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service status, ensuring compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements. Regular inspection of equipment and vehicles to ensure operational safety and report maintenance concerns to the designated manager. Plan routes effectively to optimize costs and delivery times while considering potential hazards and traffic. Collaborate with logistics coordinators and dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries and communicate any delays or issues that arise in transit. Engage in ongoing safety training and emergency response preparedness activities. Maintain confidentiality and security of all transportation materials as required by the company and its clients. Strong driving skills and familiarity with the operation of heavy freight vehicles Deep understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards Ability to manage hazardous material transportation Effective communication and navigation skills Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record HAZMAT endorsement Safety compliance and hazardous materials training certifications
