Job Description:
Are you an experienced 3rd Shift Supervisor looking to lead a
dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are
seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership and technical
skills to oversee operations during our evening shift. This role
offers the opportunity to supervise a team of 50 employees , ensure
production goals are met, and apply your machine troubleshooting
expertise to maintain efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of
machine operators and technicians. Ensure production targets,
quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and
teamwork. Accurately track employee work hours and approved
timecards per company policies. Address any employee concerns or
performance issues professionally and effectively. Machine
Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Utilize your technical skills
to diagnose and resolve machine issues , minimizing downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and proactively address potential
problems. Training & Development: Train and mentor employees to
enhance technical skills and increase productivity . Identify
individual skill gaps and coordinate appropriate training
initiatives. Maintain accurate records of production output,
machine performance, and employee development. Qualifications &
Skills: Proven experience in manufacturing supervision , preferably
in a machine shop environment . Strong machine operation, setup,
and troubleshooting experience. Effective leadership,
communication, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with
safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
Basic proficiency with computer applications for documentation and
reporting . Willingness to work 2nd shift and occasional weekends
as needed . High school diploma or equivalent required; technical
