This individual will receive calls into the dealership, determine the nature of the customer's call, and direct the caller to their correct destination. This important and vital position will also be responsible for general accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions in both accounts receivable and accounts payable.What We Offer- Medical and Dental Insurance - 401K Plan - Paid time off and vacation - Growth opportunities based on experience and performance - Paid Training - Employee vehicle purchase programs available - Family owned and operated since 1935 - Health and wellness - Discounts for employees on partsand services repairsResponsibilities Correctly calculate the customers service repair order total using the dealerships ( DMS ) computer systemReceipt cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticketMake account changes accurately in the DMS system and issue receipts to customersAnswer phones promptly and direct the consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely mannerHandle customer complaints, and refer the clientto the appropriate individual for a quick resolutionOperate telephone switchboard systemCommunicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on holdAssist the department managers with various clerical duties as neededMust be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers as well asall fellow employeesFamiliarize yourself with all department processesandinternal procedures for assisting customers effectively and efficientlyQualificationsExperience with CDK, Excel, Microsoft Office and Word is a strong plusMust be available to work flexible hours on weeknights & weekendsAbility to effectively communicate customers' interests, needs and requests to management and/orsales personnelMust have a professional work ethicClean driving recordMust have a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role and/or customer service role
