Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced
Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of
mission-driven healthcare innovators at our St. Mary's Hospital
location. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to
those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for

This person is responsible for performing evaluations, direct
patient treatment, and documentation for patients who are referred
for speech/language pathology and swallowing services. The SLP
identifies appropriate long and short term goals and develops
treatment plans to respond to those goals.

You Will Be Responsible For:
- Exceptional Patient Care: Provides diagnostic and therapeutic
services to individuals with a wide variety of communication and
swallowing disabilities to help patients achieve a maximum level of
- Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and
verbal) with administrators, colleagues, patients and their
families. Ability to explain clinical, technical and diagnostic
procedures to clients and their families, counseling clients and
their families and enforcing policies and regulations in difficult
- Strong Educator: Provides education and counseling to clients,
families and staff.
- Technical Familiarity: Documents patient care appropriately in
the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of
- Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict
resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a Masters
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology..
- Licensure: SLP CT license.
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
