We are seeking Homemakers that are dedicated to providing routine housekeeping and home management duties in client's homes. Performs household maintenance functions; performs laundry, shopping, and errands for client; plans and prepares meals. Provides client socialization and companionship, assists with making appointments with doctors and others. Homemaker must exhibit effective interpersonal skills interacting with clients, family members, and other staff. Understanding and empathetic attitude toward clients and families. Writes and speaks clearly and concisely. Follows universal precautions. Participating in case conferences as requested; Attends all required in-service education sessions. Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home offers a team-oriented structure, paid travel time, paid mileage, and paid in-service opportunities. Independence at Home is committed to keeping our colleagues and clients safe. We provide our workforce with masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and antibacterial hand soap. We also have each homemaker complete a daily online health screening, including temperature checks, prior to entering a home for work shift. We also complete health screenings with potential clients during the intake call and again prior into going to the home for a case opening.Qualifications: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum 6 months experience a homemaker for private party preferred. Good housekeeping and home management skills MUST have valid CT Driver's license and own reliable transportation Computer Skills
