Job Description:

The Sales Account Manager, Special Projects is responsible for building contacts with the end-users (facilities management, etc.) and generating Service/Construction small project sales in the hospital, education, and biotech verticals. He/she will play a key role in devising and executing on the sales strategy that will increase revenue, expand market share, and drive brand awareness. He/she will develop project opportunities with existing and new clients in the region, participate in regional networking opportunities, and lead small projects as project manager.Essential Duties:

• Proactively establish and maintain working relationships with end users in the designated industries for sales and networking opportunities. Participate in industry organizations and local business organizations to drive brand awareness and make key contacts for future opportunities.
• Generate opportunities for MJ Daly, LLC to bid on construction, renovation and service projects.
• Estimate/bid and lead projects as account manager; manage existing service contracts.
• All other duties as directed by the President.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing or related subject with 5+ years of experience in the construction/mechanical contracting industry with prior experience in sales preferred.
  • Initiative, drive, and time-management skills necessary to produce sales with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Possesses the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics and properly make quotes based on them.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and prior experience utilizing an ERP system such as Sage 300 (Timberline).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (generally automobile day travel) throughout the CT/Western MA and other local areas.
